Rough-In is an electrical calculator and field reference app. It is built to work with no signal, and that is also the honest summary of this policy: the app does not collect, transmit, store remotely, sell, or share any personal data. Nothing you type leaves your phone.
Nothing. Rough-In has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting service, no user accounts, and no servers of its own. The numbers you enter (circuit values, bend measurements, settings, saved defaults) are processed on your device and stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
The app uses your device's motion sensors solely to power the on-screen protractor and level. Sensor readings are used in the moment, on the device, and are never recorded or transmitted.
Rough-In is offered as a subscription through Google Play. Your purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing: we never see or store your payment details, and the app checks your subscription status through Google Play's own on-device services. Google's handling of your purchase information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Rough-In is a professional trade tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that needs data the current app does not — the change will be posted at this address with a new effective date before it takes effect.
